  13. I have had my Sony STR-AV1070 Receiver for a few months from now and
  14. am pleased by it's performance.  But then again, I am no real audiophile,
  15. so most stuff sounds good to me.

  17. My question is in regards to the rear surround channels.  Now, I forget
  18. what the specs are as in terms of rear output, it is something like
  19. 15 watts + 15 watts.

  21. There are no RCA pre-outs on the back for the rear channels, just the center
  22. channel.

  24. Is it possible for me, in the future to be able to boost the rear channel
  25. output by the way of an external amplifier?  How would this work with the
  26. existing speaker outputs?
