  20. I took a look at the Sony a few weeks ago.  My opinion on it (pure
  21. opinion) is that it is tremendously overladen with features you won't
  22. use, and those features seem to be the main selling point of the unit.

  24. From the people I've talked to who have Pro-Logic receivers and with my
  25. experience on one I just bought (not Sony), most useful are basically
  26. only two modes: straight Pro-Logic, possibly with a few wrinkles such
  27. as Yamaha's extended or 70mm mode, and bypass (no processing at all).

  29. I didn't want to pay anything extra for the Sony features so passed it
  30. up.
