  13. I am planning to buy a pair of headphones to go with my Kenwood stereo
  14. system (receiver KR-V8040 and other components).

  16. I have looked at the Sony MDR-V6 ($69.50) and Sennheiser HD-150II (?)
  17. ($79.50).  Here's how I compare them -
  18.  
  19. Sony MDR-V6:
  20.     - more comfortable ear pads
  21.     - sleek looks
  22.     - lower THD
  23.     - cheaper by $10
  24.  
  25. Sennheiser HD-150II (?):
  26.     - slightly better sound
  27.     - straight wire (as opposed to the coiled one in Sony)
  28.     - replaceable components, such as detachable speakers, pads etc.
  29.  
  30. What have been your experiences with these headphones?  Are there any
  31. others I should consider too?
