-
- While I don't know the specifics of your NAD amp, many home stereo amps
- have left and right negative speaker connections grounded to the chasis.
- If this is the case with the NAD, the driver will get the left channel
- signal only, filtered by the crossover.

-
- Most probably not. The way to bridge stereo amps is to invert the
- polarity of the incoming signal on one channel, then tie the driver to
- the left and right positive output terminals.

-
- Not knowing the details of the NAD, I can't say for sure. I doubt it.

- No. See above.
-

-
- You'll probably get left & right full-range sound out of the Advents,
- plus left-only lows from the sub driver.

-
- Again, no guarantees. But, you're probably OK. NADs have good output
- capabilities, at least for short periods. Your amp may start to get
- warm.
-
- > What happens if I use a 4ohm driver?
-
- Your amp's left channel gets warmer and more grumpy.

-
- Granted, but two coils is about the only way to get two-channel lows
- with a passive sub. With another power amp, you could use an active
- crossover and bridge to one coil as I described above. Good luck.
