- Well, I own an A1000, and the combination of Pro Logic and DSP (ie. the
- addition of front effects speakers), does add a lot of "ambience" to the front
- half of the sound stage. In other words, the sound above the TV monitor is a
- lot more "filled in". It's difficult to describe, but the best thing to do is
- to get a demo. However, it's important that the front effects speakers are
- positioned correctly, ie. wider, above and behind the main speakers. If they
- aren't, they tend to get drowned by the sound from the main pair.

- I've had my A1000 now for about 4.5 months, and never regretted buying it once.
- It's a superb machine, and the build quality is second to none (it weighs in
- at a hefty 20Kg!).
