  32. Well, I own an A1000, and the combination of Pro Logic and DSP (ie. the 
  33. addition of front effects speakers), does add a lot of "ambience" to the front
  34. half of the sound stage.  In other words, the sound above the TV monitor is a
  35. lot more "filled in".  It's difficult to describe, but the best thing to do is
  36. to get a demo.  However, it's important that the front effects speakers are
  37. positioned correctly, ie. wider, above and behind the main speakers.  If they
  38. aren't, they tend to get drowned by the sound from the main pair.

  40. I've had my A1000 now for about 4.5 months, and never regretted buying it once.
  41. It's a superb machine, and the build quality is second to none (it weighs in
  42. at a hefty 20Kg!).
