- That's true. Even what Philips claims to be the top-of-the-line audio,
- consisting of two detachable mid- and high-range speakers and one "hefty"
- subwoofer inside the cabinet, it can't be compared to any HiFi-loudspeaker(s).
- However, when used only for the dialog channel, the TV-speakers are the cheapest
- solution to enjoy Dolby Surround Pro Logic Normal-mode audio.
-
- My problem has been connecting the center channel of the ampiflier to
- the audio inputs of the TV. Not many TV's have external audio-in-jacks to which
- any source can be connected. The Philips ML 8976 for example has the audio in's
- only within the SCART-connector, which makes the connection more difficult. Can
- anybody report on successful experiences with connecting the TV-speakers to the
- center channel?
-
- Cheers,
