  12. I'm about to build an amplifier to my soon completed two way loudspeaker system. I
  13. have thought of using an active crossover circuit with two smaller amplifiers with
  14. each speaker instead of a larger standard stereo power amplifier with passive
  15. crossover circuits.
  16. I'm wondering if anyone have any idea of what suitable output these would have 
  17. in comparision with the passive alternative. I will be using 24 db per octave 
  18. linkwitz filtering in any case. Will 2x20 watts be enough compared to 1x100 watts
  19. in the passive system? Or should I go for a, say, 10+40 watts system instead?
