  24. I'm glad you brought this up. I know I'm going to get flamed for this - but
  25. I dont care.

  27. Firstly, the speakers in you TV are shit compared to virtually any centre
  28. speaker you can buy. Even high-end TV's have shit speakers!

  30. However, a centre speaker tends to move the dialog off screen. Try closing
  31. your eyes and mentally placing where the people are - you see what I'm
  32. talking about.

  34. You could try what I have done. Use a centre speaker on top of the TV together
  35. with the TV speakers ( if it has one on either side ). The net effect is to
  36. place the dialog _in_ the screen. It really does work! And little ( if any )
  37. quality is lost since the centre speaker is still carrying half the load.
