  17. as a tunable IF in the 30 to 35Mhz range for use with a suitable broadband
  18. crystal converter.

  48. inserts a notch in the selectivity curve.

  50. If desired the RF gain can be switched out so that the RF front end
  51. runs at max gain, and overal gain can then be reduced in the IF stages.

  53. Muting, the NC300c can be muted by the application of -22 volts  
  54. to the appropriate connector.

  56. The tuning (knob) ratio is 40:1 using a heavby weight flywheel coupled to
  57. a free moving gear train, so you can "lightly spin" from one end of the
  58. dial to the other with just a flick of the wrist, and NO BACKLASH.
  59. Fine tuning is smooth and easy.

  61. The radio comes with a (photocopied) manual which includes a full
  62. schematic, alignment procedures, dial cord lacing pattern and pocedure,
  63. and all of the other good stuff.
