  11.                       Jam Session for Filkers

  13. A "jam session" for filkers and all others interested is planned.

  15.            Place    : Dalhousie Community Centre (755 Somerset St.)
  16.            Date/Time: 17th January (1:30 to 5:30 pm.)

  18. Several people (including the sender) are planning to be there.  It is hoped
  19. that most filkers in Ottawa (and a few from Montreal) will come.  The actual
  20. reserved space is in a kitchen, so it should be possible to bring munchies
  21. (and more importantly, obtain water!).

  23. The Dalhousie Community Centre is located on Somerset west of Bronson.  The
  24. fastest way to reach it is by the #85 bus (which stops at Bronson & Somerset)
  25. and walking a few blocks west (ie. AWAY from the downtown).  Car drivers will
  26. find that parking is rather hard to find in the area.  Another way to reach
  27. it is by the #2 bus, which stops right in front (the first stop after the
  28. stop at Bronson, if you are heading west towards "Bayshore").
