  15. I have a set of snow tires that I'd want to sell. I just traded in my Honda
  16. Civic SI which I bought in June of last year. There was no way I was going
  17. to let them have my snow tires, so I kept them. Their size is 165-70R14,
  18. and they fit Honda Civic's quite nicely, and should fit many other cars
  19. with a similar "wheel plus tire" diameter.

  21. Hakka-Pelliita tires are made in Norway. Their quality lies in their rubber
  22. compound which does not freeze, and therefore keeps providing good
  23. traction even in very cold weather. They are made by Nokia (a large
  24. corporation that specializes in rubber and electronics). Mine are the
  25. Hakka-Pelliita 10 model, with a very agressive thread pattern. They were
  26. recommended for my SI (185-60SR14 is the summer radial size on them), and
  27. have done wonders. I paid $630 for the four tires almost exactly a year
  28. ago. Hakka's have, in the past, proved to be long lasting snow tires
  29. (remember, they rely on the fact that their compound does not freeze,
  30. whereas other companies use softer, and hence less durable, compounds for
  31. traction in the cold). I used them only for a short winter, and would be
  32. willing to let these go for $300 for all 4 (no tax).
