- Here's a question for all, I am just curious to know the answer:
-
- You go to your local supermarket and purchase a 6-pack of any
- "non-alcoholic" brew. (It actually *does* contain alcohol, only something like
- 0.5%) Notice the word "brew" as opposed to "beer".
-
- You leave the supermarket parking lot, six-pack in the seat next to
- you. You then proceed to dump one bottle of beer all over yourself, to make
- sure you really reek of beer. Then open another. Then, drive by that
- local speed trap everyone knows about with an open container in hand, drinking
- away. Make sure the cop sees you.
-
- The point:
- Can you be charged with any sort of DUI or "open container" infraction?
-
- Just wondering,
-
- Jon
