- Yes, I am blessed with the wonders of call waiting. I am interupted on
- occasion and it is a real anoyance. I looked into the situation and this
- is what I have found. There is an override code that can be used to turn
- the function off for one call. Usualy, you dial *70 on a touch tone
- phone and then you will get another dial tone. Dial the number and call
- waiting will not interupt you until you hang up. On pulse phones the
- code is 70. This information is available at the thleboutique. If you
- are talking to someone and you get that anoying tone, you can override
- the other call but I have lost the card with the instructions, so you
- will have to go to the teleboutique. However, there are some problems
- with the system. Not all equipment has the capibility to do this, like
- mine. If it does not work for you, call 411 and ask them about it. I
- can't help if Bell doesn't even know you have the function.
