  12. To all you tech writers out there, I am facing a new writing task.
  13. I have been assigned to collaborate with engineers in producing an
  14. engineering specification. This document could set the trend for
  15. formats of future specification documents. My question is--are you
  16. aware of a basic outline that most specifications generally follow?
  17. I'd be interested in outlines for both hardware and software specs.
