- Maybe to make up for the Gay boycott of Colorado, there is a reason to
- move here, if you are worried about this sort of thing. Colorado has
- on its books what is called the "Make my Day" law, named after the
- movie showing at the time it was enacted. It basically allows the use
- of any level of force (including deadly) if you are in your house and
- someone enters to commit a crime (including rape, burglury, intimidation,
- arson, assault, etc.). This means that if you find someone in your house
- and he doesn't belong there, and you can reasonably assume that he is there
- to commit a crime, you can use deadly force with impunity.
