- Hang in there. Wow this post brought up distant memories. Actually, 9
- mo Robin is starting to reach for the steering wheel when I try to put
- him into his seat, I thought he was too young for that.

- We went through some bouts of that with Katherine during her toddler
- years. We'd also often allow her to 'drive' *AFTER* we arrived at the
- destination, not beforehand - although I remember spending a lot of
- time with her 'driving'. In general, we were just consistant, and
- sometimes we had to force it, until she got the idea. Any kind of
- distraction can help - a bottle, food, music, talking about the
- destination, talking about anything going on outside the car.
