- Congratulations; our last kid was born at Kaiser Santa Clara last
- March. It's a good place, IMHO.

- The main tip, which applies to places other than Kaiser as well, is
- that it helps to know as much as possible about what kind of care you
- want/need/expect to need, both for yourself and for the baby.
- Recognize that the staff are busy, and don't count on them to
- instinctively know what needs doing -- TELL THEM, if you think you're
- having a problem. (We noticed that Emmy was turning yellow before
- they did, for example, and had them do the bilirubin test. Got her
- under the lights a couple of hours earlier than otherwise.)
