  12. Does anyone remember a poem which is about different
  13. trees and specifically, their wood and the properties
  14. it has when seasoned to burn on house fires?  Bits of
  15. it go something like :

  17. Ash burns bright when seasoned or green
  18. and...
  19. Oakwood burns a fire fit for a king
  20. and...
  21. Something burns clear if the logs are kept a year
  22.  
  23. It's a really old poem that is a good way of teaching
  24. kids knowledge which is lost today because of the way
  25. we live.
