- This isn't necessarily true. I haven't had the same good experiences
- with Hanna Anderson as some others on the net. I first ordered from
- them when my son was about a year old. I got some baby stretch pants
- and a cute striped sunsuit, size 90. The sunsuit just barely
- fit when it first came, and he was out of it within a month, but everything
- else was big. The stretch pants were very thin knit and he put holes
- in them within weeks of getting them. However, two and a half years
- later he can still fit into them, that's how big they were.
-
- These things don't launder too well, either. Mine consistently end
- up looking grimier than the rest of the wash, and unlike most of the
- other baby clothes I have, you can't bleach them at all without bleaching
- out _all_ the color. With my daughter's diaper blowouts, bleach was a
- must in her wash and her Hannas were the only things that ended up really
- faded.
-
- I recently ordered my daughter some fleece suits and a pair of bubble
- overalls, both size 90 since she was growing out of the size 80's we'd
- received as gifts. The suits were _huge_ on her, and the overalls were way
- too small.
-
- I like the Hanna concept, but sizing and quality hasn't been consistent
- at all for me. Not to mention that these things aren't cheap, either.
- I don't like to write them off because they're an Oregon company, but
- I don't think I'll be doing any more catalog shopping from them.
- Fortunately their stores are accessible to me (including their outlet
- store), so I can inspect the stuff before I buy.
