  11. Yes, I can understand that you are scared about your upcoming birth experience
  12. considering you don't have a lot of support from that doctor. I had a c-seectio
  13. n the first time - 13 years ago - and I am going for VBAC. I am concerned about
  14. episiotomies too but my doctor told me not to even worry about that. We will se
  15. e when we get there but we will try without one first. If you do NOT lay down d
  16. uring birth but remain in a squatting position or on hands and knees your tailb
  17. one can move to its max and your perinium can stretch to its max. Massaging the
  18. perinium on top of that results in a high chance of not having an episiotomy
  19. (so I was told). I also was told by a nurse to start massaging the perinium
  20. around 6 weeks before the birth date with a little bit of VEGETABLE OIL....
  21. Also she said it is a good idea to not be wiped down with alcohol when the head
  22. crowns since it will remove all the natural moisture. Anyway...I also take in
  23. any good advice from a good nurse, doctor or friendly midwife. Good luck
