- Please help a new investor with some of the lingo used in the
- financial world! What is a BETA value? And how do I interpret the
- YIELD? I've gotten confused recently because a stock that was doing
- exceptionally well, with a generous increase in value, had a YIELD of
- 0%! I therefore figured I must be missing something...
-
- And BETA values are completely beyond me for now. I'm attempting to
- evaluate stock potential and realize that these are important items
- wich should be understood.
-
- Thanks for any help.
