  13. Please help a new investor with some of the lingo used in the
  14. financial world! What is a BETA value? And how do I interpret the
  15. YIELD? I've gotten confused recently because a stock that was doing
  16. exceptionally well, with a generous increase in value, had a YIELD of
  17. 0%! I therefore figured I must be missing something...

  19. And BETA values are completely beyond me for now. I'm attempting to
  20. evaluate stock potential and realize that these are important items
  21. wich should be understood.
