  18. Sometimes, I think the greater pain in dealing with chronic pain is
  19. what is inflicted by others in response to your pain: uncaring
  20. medical personnel or friends/family telling you "its all in yur
  21. head", offering no compassion, never trying to understand the pain.
  22. All that is just compounded by the depression/suicidal feelings you
  23. get from time to time when you feel so helpless from the pain,
  24. wanting it to just end, and there is no hope given you. I can
  25. really relate to what you and your girlfriend are enduring. I hope
  26. you can find a COMPASSIONATE/KNOWLEDGABLE doctor close to home to
  27. help you...
