- I went through that rather quickly after I brought her home and
- thought that I was going to never make things work, but then suddenly
- I got my 2nd wind, and I just got stubborn and said that I wasn't
- gonna let no dog outstubborn me no way. So I've hung in, and am glad
- that I have. She puts up with all my silly ways and I do my best to
- do the same as well. Besides, Kathy just loves her and so does
- everyone at all my meetings and church, so that helps.

- That's great that you were able to find some sort of support. I can
- tell you it's been a lot to learn, but I feel like I'm finally making
- headway.
- You should have seen her this morning when the big neighborhood cat
- came along. the cat hissed, but ole Maxi wasn't scared at that and
- she got that cat on the run, believe me. Something in me felt I
- should let her have her head just enough to see what would happen
- since I was right by my front door anyway.
-
- BK> I'm working on her with that, but I guess it's an ongoing process.
- CA> Yes, it is an ongoing process. At first you keep on and on with it,
- CA> and it seems like you just don't make any progress with it, but
- CA> suddenly you realize that things are going more smoothly.
- That's about the way it feels too. She still goes faster than I
- really wish she would, but even that isn't true all the time.
- BK> here. So did you find your polling place.
- CA> No, I didn't.
- Well htat's ok, he won anyway even without your vote. <grins>
-
- BTW, have you or would you write me another net mail? I have a
- question I'd like to ask you.

- ... I bought some batteries, but they weren't included
