- Bob, why not ask your girlfriend's chiropractor what it is? I may
- be able to find out for you, but I have to ask a friend who is a
- chiropractic student.
-
- Arthur, just because you haven't heard of something, doesn't make
- it an invalid treatment (just for the record, it doesn't make it
- something to rush right out and try, either). Rather, if you trust
- the source, pursue obtaining more information; then, decide for
- yourself (asking others to help you decide is ok, too). I have
- tried every standard treatment there is for psoriatic arthritis and
- nerve complications from a C-1, C-2 fracture, and my best results
- (by far) have come from the less standard treatments I have had,
- including chiropractic, trigger point injections, diet, vitamins,
- visualization, acupuncture, applied kinesiology, etc. We are so
- resistant to the unusual in treatments in this country, as well as
- over-eager for the quick fix solutions, that many good treatments
- are not well known here. Hopefully, we will mature in our concepts
- of medicine and treatment soon.
