  18. yup...I know the problem. The pattern usually goes during our training:

  22. me: Yes. (they start to reach) but please don't pet her, she's working,
  23.     and is responsible for her person's safety.

  25. they usually get it, but some don't..as a trainer I sometimes let the kids
  26. pet so I have them long enough to explain to the kids and their parents why
  27. they can't pet or even attract the dogs attention ever again...usually works.
  28. Then again there are the bozo's who start petting after you ask them not to...
  29. one day I'm gonna get real rude with one of these...
