- I as a hearing person was wondering why you don not sign and simply rely on
- lip reading? Were you given the choice to learn sign at a school such as
- Rochester School for the Deaf or were you mainstreamed into public schools? I
- was just wondering how it feels to either be mainstreamed and exisit in a
- hearing world or to be placed in an environment created for the hearing
- impaired? I am just trying to learn more about deaf culture after completing
- beginners 1 and Beginners 2 sign language. Thank you.
