  17. I have recently been awarded a Churchill Fellowship. This is a
  18. travelling scholarship which allows the recipient to travel
  19. abroad,  to study  his or her  field of interest.
  20.  
  21. The area I am interested in is computer mediated communication
  22. (CMC) and its use in social welfare.  In particular  the use of CMC
  23. by  different community based  groups  as a tool for community
  24. development  and social change.
  25.  
  26. I propose to travel to America, Canada and Europe between April and
  27. July 1993, starting on the west coast of America in April and
  28. finishing in Europe.

  30. I am interested in visiting you, or others that you know of, to
  31. discuss what you are doing in this area. If you could be of some
  32. assistance, or know of a group or individual who I could contact,
  33. please let me know.
