- Well you could probably post it in news.groups, alt.religion, or any
- (unmoderated) newsgroup, and you'd receive a lot of offers, too --
- but that doesn't justify doing it.
-
- While I read both misc.forsale and misc.forsale.computers (and now
- misc.forsale.computers.*), I would prefer not to see computer stuff
- in misc.forsale. I wasn't on the net when m.f.c was created, but
- I would imagine that one of the main reasons for its creation was
- that a lot of readers in m.f weren't interested in computer sales.
-
- If your site has access to misc.forsale.computers(.*), then I think
- you definitely should not be cross-posting to misc.forsale, just to
- try to get more people to see your ad. IMHO, the only semi-justified
- reason for posting computer stuff in misc.forsale is if your site
- gets m.f, but not m.f.c. (Although I don't think even this argument
- is 100% airtight, since if you get neither m.f nor m.f.c, that doesn't
- justify you to post your ad to other groups in which it doesn't belong.)
