  27. The Neo Geo is EXPENSIVE (something like $600 for the system, and
  28. maybe $100 for each game?), but it IS an arcade game -- the only
  29. difference between home and arcade Neo Geos is that the arcade ones
  30. have coin slots.  In fact, you can buy a "game card" for the Neo Geo
  31. on which you can save your progress on certain games, and use the card
  32. in either the home system or the arcade game.

  34. The Super Nintendo (SNES) and Sega Genesis are practically equal in
  35. power and price, although I think the SNES has better color than the
  36. Genesis.  Your decision on which to get should be based on what games
  37. you like better.  I have a SNES with Super Mario World and Zelda III,
  38. and it can't be beat! :)

  40. I don't know much about the TG16.

  42. One benefit of the Genesis is that you can buy a Sega Game Gear
  43. handheld unit that'll play all Genesis games.  Nintendo's Game Boy is
  44. laughable and not worth serious attention; for ten dollars more, you
  45. can get an Atari Lynx -- I have one, and it's *great* fun.  :)  Very
  46. hugh quality!
