- Many of folks in my area are abandoning the Police style
- uniform and changing to polo type shirts. Where I work we have polo
- shirts for summer use only. During the colder months I get called a cop
- a lot as opposed to hardly ever during the summer. As far as rank goes
- color coding the shirts is one idea and embroidered patches is another.
- From a fire service aspect it shouldn't be a big deal because on a fire
- scene uniform shirts are covered up with bunker gear. And bold rank
- qualifiers on EMS scenes and around the house are more for egos than
- for function.
