- Ummmmm, wish it were.
-
- The municipal alarm system is still the 1800's Gamewell stuff. Not
- that Gamewell did it wrong, it's the ancient underground wires that
- are failing.
-
- Turf hassles are surfacing about the 911 stuff, Police say they should
- be in charge, Fire says, oughta be some combination control, EMS is
- a private contractor and goes with the flow.
-
- Space is at a premium, 911 will require 4 to 5 call takers and about
- a min of 1000 sq feet of space. Only open spaces in city property
- need rehab and a half a mil in chase money for sprinklers, security
- etc. How's come whenever the location comes to the discussion, all
- the big wigs want to put it in a place that either floods at the drop
- of a storm or is about 8 square feet in area?
