  12. I hope you don"t mind me sticking my 2 cent in I knew to this
  13. conference. I hope fireman never get the right to give tickets. We are
  14. fireman we fight fires and try and teach people how to prevent fires we
  15. are not cops. I think it would be very unwise and unsafe for us to try
  16. and be a cop. I main toughts should be about getting our car or fire
  17. truck safely to the fire and not about pulling someone over because of
  18. there bad driving habits

  20. That's NY...In NJ every Volunteer Fire Company/Department MAY have Fire
  21. Police.  They usually complete the NJ State Fire Police schooling or a
  22. NJSP-approved training course.  Their job is to help get the fire
  23. equipment and personnel safely to the fire scene, protect the fire equip
  24. & personnel, and protecting the fire scene/investigating a fire. The
  25. cops don't need to be tied up at the fire scene and can preform their
  26. job, unless they are required at the fire.  The NJSP training is very
  27. good and is required before a Fire Policeman can preform his duties on
