- We are just starting to set up a Underwater Dive Rescue team here in
- Nanaimo. As you who are involved with this type of thing can imagine
- the problems that come with it.
-
- What I would like to know is how many Paid Departments out there have a
- "Dive Rescue Team". Weather it works under the Department or as a team
- using outside support along with department members. Possible problems
- that have come up involving training, pay etc. Amount of training time
- used for the team, on and off hours and what level of certification are
- your divers trained to? (openwater, advanced, rescue, etc)
-
- Thanks in advance for the info.
