- I agree with you Donald that the message was out of line. However, I
- also feel you are also guilty of the same thing. I have been involved in
- the volunteer and paid emergency services for nearly 11 years. I think
- that your comment of that "it is high time the volunteers get off there
- (sic) high hourse (sic)" is also offensive. Not only am I employed by
- two ambulance services, I am a member of a paid/volunteer fire
- department, as a volunteer. I feel that your blanket statement of the
- need for volunteers to get off a high horse is offensive. There are no
- more volunteers on a high horse than there are paid employees. There are
- bad apples in every barrel Donald and they don't exist only in the
- volunteer ranks.
