  16. I agree with you Donald that the message was out of line. However, I
  17. also feel you are also guilty of the same thing. I have been involved in
  18. the volunteer and paid emergency services for nearly 11 years. I think
  19. that your comment of that "it is high time the volunteers get off there
  20. (sic) high hourse (sic)" is also offensive. Not only am I employed by
  21. two ambulance services, I am a member of a paid/volunteer fire
  22. department, as a volunteer. I feel that your blanket statement of the
  23. need for volunteers to get off a high horse is offensive. There are no
  24. more volunteers on a high horse than there are paid employees. There are
  25. bad apples in every barrel Donald and they don't exist only in the
  26. volunteer ranks.
