- There are conflicts between the nets; that's obvious. No one is trying to
- hide behind an alias; the news system attaches real names to the From:
- field, and to use your own words, if your system can't deal with it, that's
- your problem. Fido echo rules can't be automatically applied to the Usenet
- newsgroup and Internet/BITNET mailing list versions of this group. For the
- rare cases when news systems aren't in compliance with the RFCs, there are
- .signature files. Obnoxious, garish .signatures are a problem in most
- groups, usually with new users, just as new BBS users sometimes seem to
- have a problem with the Caps Lock key.
