  19. There are conflicts between the nets; that's obvious.  No one is trying to
  20. hide behind an alias; the news system attaches real names to the From:
  21. field, and to use your own words, if your system can't deal with it, that's
  22. your problem.  Fido echo rules can't be automatically applied to the Usenet
  23. newsgroup and Internet/BITNET mailing list versions of this group.  For the
  24. rare cases when news systems aren't in compliance with the RFCs, there are
  25. .signature files.  Obnoxious, garish .signatures are a problem in most
  26. groups, usually with new users, just as new BBS users sometimes seem to
  27. have a problem with the Caps Lock key.
