  11. I am new to this echo and am not involved in fire fighting.  I have
  12. created a program that acts as an ' electronic phrase book', complete
  13. with the foreign phrase being pronounced.  I believe that there might be
  14. applications in hospital and / or EMS work.  I am interrested in any
  15. feedback that anyone interested could provide.  I am also available via
  16. voice (answering machine) at (216) 382-8523.  My objective is to have a
  17. program that will provide an immediate ability to translate a specific
  18. phrase (such as: Are you injured? or Are you allergic to any medications
  19. ?) into ANY language.  The translated phrase is then displayed on
  20. screen, in whatever script is appropriate.  At the same time the phrase
  21. can be 'pronounced' by the computer so there is no guessing as to how a
  22. phonetic version should be pronounced.  Any feedback will be most
  23. approeciated.
