  10.         A question for all you rescue people out there from someone who
  11. lives in a volunteer fire/rescue community in Maine...what does it
  12. specifically mean when someone (dispatcher, EMT, etc) says it's a "code
  13. 99"? I have a scanner at my home so I can hear all the excitement in my
  14. town when an alarm goes off or there's an accident, and the other night
  15. there was a "CODE 99" broadcast and two days later the patient's
  16. obituary was in the local paper.
