- I just began reading a book that was released a couple of months ago.
- The title is "Why Johnny can't tell right from wrong.", by Kilpatrick, a
- Boston College professor. Has anyone read this book? What are your
- thoughts? It is a case for character education as opposed to the current
- and past emphasis on descision making skills and allowing the child
- freedom to decide everything on their own (drug prevention, sex education,
- etc.).
-
- My first impressions of the book are that he is right on the mark. I
- have only read about half of the book but so far, I agree with him
- completely.
