- The reason I linked them is because the DAK R2D2 machines are virtually
- identical to the Welbilt R2D2 machines. There are cosmetic differences
- in the control panel, etc., but they are basically the same beast.
- And, based on reports from the bread-machine mailing list, they are
- susceptable to many of the same problems.
-
- : Again, the DAK/Welbilt link here is misleading.

-
- Based on reports from the mailing list, it's pretty even.

-
- Oh yes I can. *I* have a Welbilt, and *I* called Welbilt customer service
- (repeatedly) and got NO satisfaction. From reports on the mailing list,
- I was far from alone.
-
- Maybe Welbilt has improved their customer service since I gave up on them
- (well over a year ago). Or maybe you were lucky. But I assure you that
- many people, myself included, were very dissatisfied with Welbilt cust.service.
-
- : You didn't say where the many, many people sent their
- : machines - was it to DAK or Welbilt?
-
- Both, depending on the source of their machine.
