  11. While we are on the subject of Sears credit cards I would like to
  12. tell a short story about me and my Sears credit card.

  14. About 2 years ago I had to get a Sears repairman out to do some work
  15. on my kenmore washer. I was short of cash at the time so I put it on
  16. my Sears credit card. About 3 weeks later I get a statement from
  17. Sears saying that I owed 92 bucks for the service call. When I called
  18. to find out what the deal was I told the lady that I had put it on my
  19. credit card and asked why I was being billed again for it. After she
  20. took my credit card number and about 3 minutes later she came back
  21. and told me that since I had not used my card in the last 6 months
  22. that I would have to come in and 'requalify' (fill out forms) to be
  23. able to use my card again. (Before that six months I used it all the
  24. time and always paid up.)  After I expressed great dissatisfaction
  25. with this policy she told me that I really should come in an requalify
  26. because I might need it to buy something. Then I told her that I would
  27. not be comming in to do the paper work because I no longer had any need
  28. for the card. I told her that I would just use my VISA card next time.

  30. Since then I got a 12.5 percent card from USAA Federal they (and other
  31. banks) can just take their 18-21 percent cards and _____ __ !!!

  33. I will never use a Sears credit card ever again. As a matter of fact,
  34. I really don't do much shopping there anymore.
