  11. Thanks to all those who responded to my post about my very bad
  12. experience with millenium rechargeable batteries. (Two free ones never
  13. delivered, and the four that I bought giving a VERY bad performance.)

  15. 5-6 people said that they didn't have any problems, and one even
  16. flamed me for making a "summary" judgement based on just one incident.
  17. True, my experience is only *one* data point.
  18.  
  19. All of you suggested that these batteries can be exchanged because
  20. they come with lifetime warranty.  Two questions:
  21.  
  22. 1. I paid cash at Fry's and don't have receipts any more since I sent
  23.    the ORIGINAL receipt, for the two free batteries that never arrived.
  24.    The fine print said it had to be original receipts for free batteries.
  25.    Will the company still exchange these nonworking batteries for new,
  26.    hopefully working ones?

  28. 2. Just what exactly is a lifetime warranty? Expected lifetime of the
  29.    battery (200-400 charges???) or the lifetime of the company ;-) or
  30.    my lifetime?

  32. 3. (Ok, one extra question.)  The batteries/recharger only have the
  33.    city name for the company along with zip code, no street address/po box
  34.    number. I called 800 directory but there is no listing under
  35.    Millennium Batteries/Millennium Corporation/Inc OR under Gates energy
  36.    products.  So where do I send these batteries for a replacement?
  37.    (Spend more money calling Gainseville/Gainseville-suburb directory
  38.    assistance??)
