  11. I bought a Panasonic pedometer, mail order from 47th St. Photo about
  12. five years ago. It was the first pedometer among a half dozen that I
  13. have tried over the years which gave reproducible results. That is, if
  14. I counted out 100 paces, the pedometer would read 100 + - 1, not some weird
  15. number like 127 or 83. Well, the ravages of time and use have gotten
  16. to it and it now adds or subtracts significantly large random numbers
  17. to its recording. I would like to replace it, but it is no longer in
  18. the 47th St. Photo catalog. I do see it in a Hammacher Schlemmer
  19. catalog, but their prices are inflated by about 20 to 25%--they want
  20. $50. There is no 800 number listed for Panasonic. I would like to get
  21. in touch with them and see if there are any other mail order
  22. distributers or if there are any retailers in the San Francisco Bay
  23. Area that carry this item.
