- I shopped features at my local Circuit City and later bought mail
- order thru Camera World of Oregon (call 800 directory assistance
- for their number).
-
- I got the Sony TR9 (I think). It has 10X zoom, no stereo. Stereo
- is only useful for playing movies recorded in stereo. IMHO, stereo
- is not needed for recording juniors achievements. I went with 8mm
- over VHS-C for the better picture quality and longer tape duration.
- I believe VHS-C has 2 hour tapes, while 8mm allows up to 6 hours.
- The camera is very easy to hookup to my VCR for recording to VHS
- or playing to my TV.
-
- Sony sent along a coupon that we redeemed for a free blank cassette
- and a copy of Terminator 2 on 8mm!! Nice touch!
