- Each winter students from around the nation come together
- to discuss critical global issues at Student Pugwash USA's
- National Chapter Conference. All students with an interest
- in Student Pugwash USA and the issues that we address are
- encouraged to attend. This year's conference, hosted by
- Georgia Institute of Technology, will focus on new facets of
- global security: international governance, arms issues,
- environment, technology transfer, health and population!
- Students will participate in interactive sessions led by
- experts to discuss issues at the juncture of science and
- society. In addition, students from chapters across the
- United States will have the opportunity to discuss their plans
- for the coming semester and to develop regional planning
- strategies for the chapter network.
