  18. As I recall, Island Packers has a monopoly on travel to the islands.
  19. There are limits on the number of visitors, and reservations are
  20. required.  But you could call IP for the details.

  22. Although I've never been there, the consensus seems to be that there
  23. is little of interest on the Channel Islands.  The one truly
  24. interesting thing would be to see the seals that nest on the Islands,
  25. but I'm not sure whether many seals nest on the public islands and
  26. whether or not visitors are permitted close to the nesting sites.  If
  27. anyone knows for sure, I'd be interested in hearing.
