  27.     1) I do not think that Homosexuals should be allowed to adopt 
  28.  
  29. UNLESS the birthparents have stated that they are not opposed to this.
  30.     2) I think that homosexuals should be allowed to adopt, but ONLY 
  31.  
  32. if they can meet the same stringent criteria that heterosexual couples 
  33. must meet.  I.E.  They should have remained in a monogamous relationship 
  34.  for a reasonable period of time, should be in good health, etc.
  35.     3) I do not think that a child raised by a homosexual couple would 
  36.  
  37. have normal psychological influences (whatever normal is), and could 
  38. have severe social and psychological problems in the future (especially 
  39. with gender identity).
  40.     4) This poll ignores those who have chosen to marry heterosexually 
  41.  
  42. but who are primarily homosexually oriented.  Some of these people 
  43. are "out" and have married for convenience; most, however, are closeted, 
  44. having put on the veneer of heterosexuality, seeking clandestine 
  45. homosexual contact.
  46.     5) I think it is completely wrong and unfair to expose children

  48. to homosexuality like that; kids can accept ANYTHING at a young age 
  49. regardless of right or wrong. Gays have to understand that they ARE 
  50. different, and "brainwashing" kids is not a solution.
  51.     6) Homosexual couples can be just as loving and caring as

  53. heterosexual couples.
  54.     7) Yes, homosexuals should be permitted to adopt, provided they 
  55.  
  56. can meet the same standards that all couples are forced to meet. {no 
  57. special treatment, but no discrimination, either.
  58.     8) It all depends on the child. sometimes there are times the

  60. parint dont understand. that when a kid goes to other places where 
  61. un-undrstanding people are and say  stupid thing or do stupid things 
  62. the kid might have alot of mind problomes later on in life becuase 
  63. of there foster parents.
  64.     9) No child should be raised in an atmosphere where homosexual

  66. sex is not only concidered acceptable, but is also condoned.

  76. are in the general population.  Homosexuality is not pedophilia; it 
  77. is  falling in love with someone who is the same gender.
  78.     13) Think of the kid, haveing to grow up with two dads or two
