- I don't regard it as that serious a problem. In the past, the militarys'
- excuse for the purges has been that they were a "security risk", fearing
- that someone would blackmail them with threat of exposure. All that policy
- did was give blackmail a higher chance of success.

- I don't see any problem with HIV-positive soldiers either; I think
- they'd be *great* embassy guards; no need to worry about them being
- seduced by the locals, causing security or conflict-of-interest
