  12. Is there an easy way to do word counting in a TeX buffer ... some
  13. .el code perhaps? I'm using auc-tex.el with emacs 18.58 but I could 
  14. not find anything in the LCD-datafile for word counting to use with
  15. detex.el as described in the FAQ for spell checking a TeX doc....
  16. I _could_ write some code to use with a shell command. Is that the only 
  17. way?
