  12. Hi, I have a question about GNU Emacs clean up after installation.

  14. I follow the instruction in file INSTALL to install the GNU Emacs in my
  15. machine. Here is what I did:

  17.     Let $EMACS stand for the main directory of Emacs code to reside.
  18. This directory have subdirectoried named src, lisp, etc, etc. Let $BUILD
  19. stand for the directory which have all the GNU Emacs files I got from FTP.
  20. The $BUILD directory is the one where I ran 'make install'. Note that
  21. $EMACS and $BUILD directories are two different directories. After I do
  22. 'make install', I wonder if I can delete any files in $BUILD to free up
  23. some space for other use?
