- Hi, I have a question about GNU Emacs clean up after installation.
-
- I follow the instruction in file INSTALL to install the GNU Emacs in my
- machine. Here is what I did:
-
- Let $EMACS stand for the main directory of Emacs code to reside.
- This directory have subdirectoried named src, lisp, etc, etc. Let $BUILD
- stand for the directory which have all the GNU Emacs files I got from FTP.
- The $BUILD directory is the one where I ran 'make install'. Note that
- $EMACS and $BUILD directories are two different directories. After I do
- 'make install', I wonder if I can delete any files in $BUILD to free up
- some space for other use?
-
- Thank you very much for your attention.
