  15. Ange-FTP allows transparent file access to remote files via ftp.
  16. ange-ftp is available from

  20. Ange-ftp works best when used with tree-dired.  Tree-dired is
  21. the dired of emacs-19.  Some the following advantages over
  22. dired are:

  24.      * can dired several directories in one buffer
  25.      * marking of a whole set of files for later commands
  26.      * integrated with ange-ftp - you can run Dired on remote FTP
  27.        directories

  29. Tree Dired is available via anonymous ftp from
  30.         ftp.thp.Uni-Koeln.DE[134.95.64.1]:/pub/gnu/emacs/diredall.tar.Z

  32. These are two of the most useful elisp packages in existence.
